✓Master's Degree in Engineering, Math, or Science Discipline, plus a P.E. license and two years of applicable experience in facility management, energy management, construction, or consulting engineering.
✓PhD Degree in Engineering, Math, or Science Discipline, plus a P.E. license.
Bachelors, Masters, or PhD degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related degree. preferred
Qualifications
✓Nine years of applicable experience in facility management, energy management, or construction.
✓Demonstrated ability to read and understand mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and architectural drawings and plans.
✓Demonstrated extensive knowledge of HVAC systems and equipment, including but not limited to: boilers, chillers, pumps, cooling towers, air handling equipment, and other terminal HVAC devices.
✓Demonstrated strong written and verbal communication skills, particularly the ability to summarize complex, technical issues in a concise manner for decision makers.
✓Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities with many internal customers.
✓Experience using word processing, spreadsheet, database, internet and e-mail, and scheduling applications.
✓Willingness and availability to travel throughout the Intermountain system as needed.
Certified Hospital Facility Manager (CHFM) Designation preferred
Experience in healthcare facility design, construction, operations, maintenance, or energy management. preferred
