Job Title: Environmental Services Associate (Peri-operative Assistant)

Our Operating Room (O. R.) team is committed to providing exceptional patient care, ensuring safety, and maintaining the highest standards of surgical excellence. Role Overview As a Peri-Operative Assistant, you play a vital role in supporting the Operating Room team by ensuring a safe, clean, and efficient environment for surgical procedures.
You¿ll assist with patient transport, O. R. preparation, equipment sterilization, and patient positioning, contributing directly to the success of surgical operations and patient comfort. Prepare and clean the operating room, ensuring a sterile environment for surgical procedures. Assist with patient transport, positioning, and safety during intra-operative procedures. Clean, disinfect, and sterilize surgical equipment according to established protocols.
Support pre/post-operative patient care under the supervision of registered nurses. Respond to emergent situations following established procedures. Participate in ongoing education to enhance skills and knowledge in peri-operative care.

D. equivalent. Minimum of one (1) year experience in surgical services, sterile processing, patient care environment, or related departments. Current BLS-A Certification or ability to become certified within one month of job start date.
