Certifications
✓Certified Healthcare Environmental Services Technician (CHEST) certification required or acquired within 18 months of accepting the position.
✓Addendums are required for 0153 Nurse Leader, 0249 Registry RN, 0252 Registered Nurse, 0235 Advanced Registered Nurse, and 0236 Expert Registered Nurse.
Education
High school diploma or GED. Associate's Degree preferred.
Qualifications
✓Must have a minimum of 12 months of service in Environmental Services Department and previous leadership experience preferred. Three to five years of supervisory/leadership experience preferred.
✓Must be 18 years of age.
✓Ability to effectively communicate with co‐workers, staff, patients, and visitors according to company standards.
✓Must have advanced knowledge of cleaning and customer service skills.
✓Must be detail oriented and have a willingness to follow procedures, perform repetitive tasks, and to work independently.
✓Willingness to work occasional weekends and holidays as assigned.
✓Must have strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
✓and project management skills.
✓Must be capable of utilizing computer‐based programs to extract and enter information applicable to daily work schedule and operational flow.
✓Must be able to lift 35 lbs. unassisted, 70 lbs. with assistance, and push up to 300 lbs.
