Equipment Aide

Join Our Team as a Full-Time Equipment Aide! Are you passionate about making a difference in patients' lives? We are looking for a dedicated Equipment Aide to join our Emergency Department team!

Primary

Responsible for accurate record keeping and quality checks of equipment. Identify needed repairs, maintenance, and cleaning of unit specific equipment/environment according to procedures. Enter online requests for repairs to facilities and keep accurate records of maintenance performed.

Assist with assigned quality monitoring including, but not limited to, maintaining refrigerator and temperature logs and point of care testing. Notify appropriate personnel when respective quality indicators are out of normal range. Order unit specific supplies/equipment and ensures that adequate amounts are available on the unit.

High School Diploma or GED or one-year previous job experience required in lieu of High School Diploma/GED. Prior job experience preferred. Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances: Clearances with renewal: Act 31, 33, 34, 73 UPMC is an Equal Opportunity Employer/Disability/Veteran
