✓Completion of previous STNA or CNA training or Patient Care Technician/Assistant training.
✓Bathing, turning/positioning, toileting
✓4.EMT Basic
✓This is in lieu of the above requirements.
Education
✓Minimum Level of Education Required: High School completion / GED
✓Currently enrolled in nursing school and completion of at least one clinical rotation.
Qualifications
✓ER Tech/ HUC
✓Direct patient care experience within the last five years: Performing fundamental skills of vital signs (temperature, pulse, respiration, blood pressure) & direct patient care activities ie.
✓Special Consideration: If the candidate has previous direct patient care experience, they may be excused from fundamental training (BCOP) upon completion of successful skills validation.
