Expand your career by working closely with a successful group of hospitalists evaluating, diagnosing and treating a variety of patients. POSITION DETAILS:Ø Assist Hospitalists with inpatient evaluations, H&P’s & follow-up visits.Ø Initiate appropriate treatment & testing for medical illnesses.Ø Complete history and physical examinations on all new admissionsØ Round on rehabilitation patients including long term acute care patientsØ Document using EMR system.Ø Participate in continuous quality improvement processes.IF YOU:Ø Enjoy working night shift, 7PM to 7AM, 7 ON, 7 OFF Ø Active listening, critical thinking, reading comprehension, effective communication, time management, judgement and decision makingØ Texas licensed Acute Care Physician Assistant Ø ACLS certificationØ 2 years of PA experience in ICU/CVICU required.EducationMaster's Degree Physician Assistant ReqExperience1 Year As a Physician Assistant. PrefLicenses and CertificationsPA - Physician Assistant Must maintain board certification as required for licensure.
