Certifications
✓Current EPA 608 Type I/II certification, or ability to obtain within six (6) months.
✓ASHE Health Care Physical Environment Worker (PEW) or Health Care Construction (HCC) certificate within six (6) months of hire.
✓In addition to the essential functions of the job listed below, employees must have on-time completion of all required education as assigned per DNV requirements, Bozeman Health policy, and other registry requirements.
Qualifications
✓Demonstrated competency in at least two (2) crafts (e.g., HVAC and plumbing).
✓Ability to read and interpret prints/schematics and follow written procedures.
✓Proficient in CMMS use with accurate documentation practices.
✓Lockout/tagout (LOTO) qualification; compliance with hot-work permit requirements per policy.
✓Demonstrates sound judgment, patience, and maintains a professional demeanor at all times
✓Exercises tact, discretion, sensitivity, and maintains confidentiality
✓Learns current and new computer applications and office equipment utilized at Bozeman Health
✓Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
✓Analyzes, organizes, and prioritizes work while meeting multiple deadlines
✓Demonstrate the Bozeman Health SPIRIT values of: Service, People, Integrity, Respect, Improvement, and Teamwork
Three (3) years of facilities maintenance or trades experience; healthcare preferred.
Experience with hospital life-safety systems (e.g., fire alarm/pump, smoke/fire dampers). preferred
Familiarity with medical gas systems; ASSE 6040 within twelve (12) months preferred.
