You’ll need
Education
✓High School Diploma or GED, required
Qualifications
✓Two years of experience performing plant operations and general maintenance in a healthcare facility or similar work environment, required
✓Basic understanding of all MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) systems
✓Valid driver’s license, required
✓Additional Skills – Required
✓Ability to successfully complete generic and department-specific skills validation and competency testing
✓Ability to apply customer satisfaction standards
✓Knowledge of a variety of hand and power tools used in facility maintenance
✓Ability to interact with individuals of all cultures and levels of authority
✓Broad knowledge of the principles, operation, troubleshooting, and repair of mechanical, plumbing, and HVAC equipment
✓Broad knowledge of building, electrical, and fire codes and The Joint Commission Environment of Care standards
✓Ability to read and understand blueprints and electrical schematics

As a Facility Maintenance Technician II, you’ll perform a variety of general maintenance and repair work, from plumbing and HVAC to building repairs and upkeep.
