Financial Counselors make a difference every single day at Rady Children's. Whether it be for families of current patients or those looking to obtain services at Rady Children's, the Financial Counseling team helps remove the financial barriers to care, so families can stop worrying about the financial impact of treatment and instead focus wholly on their child's care. As compassionate and understanding navigators of insurance and reimbursement resources, Financial Counselors help uninsured or underinsured families apply for various government-sponsored healthcare resources, including MediCal and California Children's Services (CCS), as well as assist families with payment plans and other options to resolve patient account balances.
