Maine Medical Center Service/Maintenance Support Req #: 61581 Summary The First Cook role performs a variety of duties normally performed in serving customers, preparing food, transporting and emptying trash receptacles, cleaning the kitchen, serving and seating areas, assisting in receiving and storing stock, cashiering, checking and recording hot and cold temperatures and washing dishes. Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
High school diploma or GED preferred.
Previous experience demonstrating the ability to perform safe food handling, prep and sanitation techniques required. Additional Skills/Requirements Required: N/A Additional Skills/Requirements Preferred: Ability to perform basic arithmetic, possess computer and computerized cash register skills and ability to handle cash, make change and count money as required by some duties. The base range is an estimate and does not reflect the full value of our total compensation package. The pay range for this position is $21.97 to $29.28 per hour. Compensation for part-time positions is determined on a prorated basis consistent with the scheduled hours and applicable full-time equivalent (FTE).
