Job Summary and Qualifications · You will perform routine duties related to preparation and serving of food. · You will prepare food for cooking by washing, peeling, shredding, slicing, and mixing various food items. · You will operate dishwasher or assist with washing/sterilizing dishes, glassware, silverware, utensils, pots, pans, etc. · You will clean kitchen work areas, collect and dispose of garbage. · You will assist with food stocking. · You will serve food in cafeteria for visitors and staff and in patient room. · You will work in the dish room when needed. · You will work on patient tray assembly line following menu directives for determining food items for each tray. · You will follow Standard Precautions using personal protective equipment as required.
