Prairie St. John's has been providing services for children, adolescents, and adults to address behavioral health and substance use challenges since 1997. Prairie offers inpatient hospitalization, day treatment, and intensive outpatient services. Accredited by The Joint Commission, we are the largest, freestanding behavioral health facility in the region. More than 4,000 patients receive care from our compassionate health care team each year at Prairie St. John's. Job duties: Assess, diagnose, and provide medical treatment in accordance with Medical Staff bylaws and privileges. Creates documentation required for each patient visit. Participates in assigned committees, including the planning and review of policies and procedures. Demonstrates tact, diplomacy, and sensitivity in communications. Is clear and accurate in communication. Responds promptly to requests, problems, and questions. Maintains confidentiality as appropriate. Interacts well with co-workers, inter and intra departments. All employees of Prairie St. John’s are expected to adhere to safety policies, safe work practices, and other hospital policies. Employees are expected to complete mandatory training on time and attend mandatory meetings. In order to meet the essential functions of this position, employees must work as scheduled. All staff at Prairie St. John’s may be required to work in different areas/units and varying shifts depending on the business needs to the facility. Performs other duties as assigned or as requested

Advanced degree in nursing. Licensed by the States of North Dakota as an APRN Able to clearly summarize pertinent clinical information via written correspondence and medical record documentation. Must be able to maintain required medical staff privileges and malpractice insurance.
