You’ll need
Licensure
✓Current PA license.
Certifications
✓Certification by the NCCPA.
✓Must hold current AHA BLS Healthcare Provider completion card prior to start date and maintain.
Education
✓Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program
Qualifications
✓Employed full-time position with Health First at Holmes Regional Medical Center, a Level 2 Trauma Center in Melbourne, FL
✓Schedule: variable, could pick up days, mid shifts or nights.
✓Mix of trauma and emergent general surgery admissions, consults, rounding, procedures, and assisting in surgical procedures as a first assist
✓At least 2 years of Trauma and Surgical first assist experience required, ATLS preferred.
✓Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and to work effectively with a team
