✓Requirements
Licensure
✓Certification by the American Board of Medical Genetics (ABMG) or the American Board of Genetic Counseling (ABGC) is required within two years of hire. (If not certified at the time of hire, must be supervised by a board-certified geneticist or a certified genetic counselor.)
✓Genetic counseling certification from the American Board of Genetic Counseling (ABGC) and state license eligible.
Education
✓Master's degree from an accredited genetic counseling program.
