You’ll need
Certifications
Prefer Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation or progress toward a relevant professional certification. preferred
Education
✓Require bachelor's degree in business administration, accounting, finance, healthcare administration, or other relevant field of study.
Master's degree preferred.
Qualifications
✓Require a minimum of three (3) years of financial, accounting, reimbursement, budgeting, or analytical responsibilities experience, preferably within a healthcare organization.

Prefer Graduate Medical Education (GME) finance experience, as well as healthcare finance, reimbursement, or hospital accounting experience supporting annual budgets, month-end close activities, financial reporting, and internal or external audits. preferred
Prefer experience utilizing financial reporting systems such as PeopleSoft, Epic, Strata, or similar financial applications. preferred
Prefer demonstrated computer skills including spreadsheet programs, word processing, database programs, reporting systems, and various Microsoft applications. preferred
Prefer having knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid reimbursement methodologies. preferred
Prefer demonstrated ability to take initiative and exercise independent judgment, decision-making, and problem-solving expertise. preferred
Prefer effective written and verbal communication skills and the ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders. preferred
