You’ll need
Licensure
✓Graduate Nurses must be eligible for State Board Licensure and successfully pass the examination before beginning this role OR ability to start with TPP and must obtain license within 6 months of beginning position.
✓Current Pennsylvania licensure as a Registered Professional Nurse required prior to program start date OR must have a Temporary Practice Permit and commit to taking the NCLEX examination within four months of hire.
Certifications
✓CPR required based on AHA standards that include both a didactic and skills demonstration component within 30 days of hire
✓Basic Life Support
Education
✓Diploma, associate, bachelor’s, and direct-entry master’s degree levels all welcome!

CG2 – Stroke Med-Surg: Treats a very diverse, often complex adult population with diseases of the brain and spinal cord including cerebrovascular accident (CVA), transient ischemic attack (TIA), brain tumor and aneurysm, dementia, and seizure disorders including epilepsy. Emphasizes a team-based approach and provides a broad knowledge base for experienced and novice nurses alike.
