• The Graduate Ultrasound Technologist at North Mississippi Health Services is responsible for conducting high-quality and cost-effective diagnostic procedures, providing assistance during medical procedures, offering excellent customer service, and ensuring effective communication with patients, family members, physicians, medical staff, and colleagues. They are required to attend in-services, annual reviews, and educational programs while staying knowledgeable about radiological examination procedures, equipment, and relevant changes in the field.JOB FUNCTIONS
• Performs high quality/cost effective diagnostic procedures
• Assists Physicians and medical staff during procedures as requested/required
• Provides excellent customer service in an accurate and efficient manner
• Communicate effectively with patients, family members, Physicians, medical staff, and NMMC staff members
• Attends required in-services, annual review and educational programs
• Knowledgeable of procedures, positions, supplies, and equipment used in Radiological examinations
• Stay abreast of changes in Radiology
• Adheres to NMHS/NMMC Policies/Procedures/Guidelines
• Complies with applicable Local/State/Federal policies/procedures/guideline/regulations/laws/statues
• Organize work flow to prevent delays and control cost through appropriate use of supplies. Knowledge Skills and Abilities
• Ability to work independently to assure quality.

• Assist fellow team members as needed to provide high quality patient care
• Perform with a high level of professional and ethical conduct at all times
• Must work to visualize affected area to provide diagnostic information.
• Ability to accurately and efficiently report any equipment malfunction/potentially hazardous equipment to the Supervisor or Bio-Med
