Bachelor's Degree in related health sciences field or equivalent preferred. EXPERIENCE 5 Years EMS Experience as a Paramedic, 3 years of EMS leadership experience, 3 years QA/QI experience. Critical Care paramedic experience preferred LICENSURE National Registry Paramedic, CT Paramedic License, AHA ACLS, BLS, PALS Instructor certifications, CT Emergency Medical Services Instructor required.

and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Responsible for the oversight of the EMS Continuing Education programs.
Schedules CME (6 programs) annually. Serves as the liaison for the EMT clinical rotation program . Serves as the liaison for the paramedic clinical rotation program.
Oversees the hospital QI-EMS program. Conducts reviews of prehospital patient care reports (PCR). Works with EMS Medical director and BH EMS physician on issues of clinical non-compliance.
Schedules peer review QI sessions with paramedics. Serves as liaison to local EMS, fire and police agencies. Assists the trauma program.
Assists with quality improvement activities. Provides supports to continuing education programs. Performs ACS verifications.
Assists with quality improvement activities. Assists with new program development.
