Job OverviewEbenezer is looking for a Groundskeeper to join our senior cooperative at 7500 York Cooperative in Edina, MN! This position is responsible for general outdoor yard maintenance. This includes seasonal upkeep of grounds.
This groundskeeper schedule includes;80 hours every two weeksFull time; Day shiftNo weekendsResponsibilities:Properly handle chemicals intended for use regarding outdoor yard maintenance. Clean assigned areas in accordance with supervisor’s instructions:Assist with moving boxes, summer furniture, planters etc. Empty trash and recycling yard waste.
Assists with window washing. Assists with distribution of plants, flowers, shrubs etc. Repairs and maintains grounds and assists with all other functions to maintain the outdoor structure:Check and maintain equipment to ensure proper working condition.
(Example: water hoses, rakes, shovels, clippers saws, loppers etc.)Assist with seasonal clean up and removal of landscape. (Example removal of weeds, leaves, brush/twigs, branches & garbage.)Trim trees & bushes cleaning up around sidewalks. Remove snow from sidewalks and walkways and use ice melt on sidewalks as needed.
Skid steer is used at 7500 York only. Required to wear high visible warning vest or other high visibility garment when operating skid steer (Performance Class 2 garment or greater as specified by ANSI/ISEA Standard 107-2004). Maintain grounds in a professional and neat manner.
