ResponsibilitiesNORTON CANCER INSTITUTE is recruiting for a board-certified or board-eligible head and neck surgical oncologist to join the largest oncology group in Louisville, Kentucky, with over 50% of the market share. Norton Cancer Institute is part of Norton Healthcare and supports a large network of referring providers, including over 500 primary care providers. Norton Cancer Institute Head & Neck Tumor Program brings together a multidisciplinary team of specialists who are board-certified and fellowshiptrained.
The selected candidate will join a team of two physicians and five advanced practice providers specializing in head and neck tumors. In collaboration with medical oncologists, radiation oncologists, nutritionists, speech-language pathologists and other specialists, the program sees over 600 surgical cases a year. Norton Cancer Institute offers a state-of-the-art genomics lab and innovative medical, surgical and radiation therapies.
The selected candidate will have access to operating rooms at two locations with da Vinci systems for robotic-assisted surgery, including at Norton Women’s & Children’s Hospital, designated as a Center of Excellence in Minimally Invasive Surgery and Center of Excellence in Robotic Surgery.
