Drives customer service initiatives by creating and owning the patient experience. Reviews appointment bookings in advance and ensures patients receive appointment reminders. Verifies and validates insurance prior to appointment date.

Completes check-in process, securing copays and balance amounts. Maintains timely flow of patients and keeps patients up to date on any delays. Responds to and returns incoming telephone calls in a timely manner.

Performs vitals and documents allergies, screenings, and vital signs after competency validation. Assists with scheduling and prior authorization of referrals and orders. Participates in disinfection of common areas and readies exam rooms for patients by following disinfection guidelines.

Assists in cleaning, disinfecting, and sterilization of instruments according to policy. Performs routine maintenance on equipment and completes quality controls on waived tests after competency checks.
