Education
✓High School,Cert,GED,Trn,Exper.
Associate degree in related field preferred.
Qualifications
✓Minimum of two years of acute care experience in medical record analysis.
✓Knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy.
✓Knowledge of health information systems, database management, spreadsheet design, and computer technology.
✓Ability to organize work priorities and to be attentive to fine details with good decision- making skills in a high volume high producing work setting.
✓Excellent computer proficiency, (MS Office – Word, Excel and Outlook).
✓Requires typing 25 wpm and passing MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint testing.
✓Requiring on-call coverage including nights and weekends for patient care support.
✓Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers.
✓Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service.
✓Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices.
