Licensure
✓Must maintain a current unrestricted license to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist in CT.
✓Access to a dependable vehicle in order to travel to multiple stops a day.
Certifications
✓Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech Language Pathology completed
✓CPR certification is required and must be maintained.
✓Candidates who do not have certification are required to obtain it within 3 months (90 days) of hire.
Education
✓Master's Degree in Speech Language Pathology; Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech Language Pathology completed
Qualifications
✓Experience working with children and/or adults, depending on the assigned setting.
✓Clinical experience with a variety of diagnoses to include post-surgical, developmental, neurological, genetic, oncologic, and traumatic.
✓A valid driver's license and proof of car insurance are required when using a personal vehicle for company business.
✓Basic therapy home care knowledge, OASIS, home care regulations and Conditions of Participation. Requires working with highly complex cases in a fast-paced environment. Position requires knowledge of age-specific assessments and treatment interventions
✓YNHHS Requisition ID
Minimum of two (2) years as a clinical speech language pathologist in a large medical center-based practice preferred.
Home care experience is preferred.
