Education
✓Associate’s degree in social work, Psychology, Counseling, Human Services, Healthcare Administration, Education, or a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Qualifications
✓Minimum of 2 years of experience in hospice, healthcare, volunteer management, bereavement services, or a related human services field.
✓Knowledge of hospice philosophy, end-of-life care, grief and bereavement principles, and patient/family-centered care.
✓Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to work compassionately with patients, families, volunteers, and interdisciplinary teams.
✓Proficiency with Microsoft Office and electronic health records or volunteer management databases.
✓Valid driver's license with a clean driving record, reliable transportation, and the ability to travel throughout the service area.
✓Must have current car insurance, which meets minimum standards.
Experience recruiting, training, supervising, and supporting volunteers preferred.
