You’ll need
Certifications
✓Hold a CPR or BLS certification.
Education
✓Possess a High School Diploma or equivalent (e.g. GED, HiSET).
Qualifications
✓Maintain a valid California Driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record. Position is subject to the California DMV's "Pull Notice System" and continued employment is contingent upon proof of a satisfactory driving record.
✓Obtain LiveScan clearance.
✓Have ability to work at all operational locations.
✓Demonstrate flexibility to work alternative hours, including early mornings and late evenings, as required by blood drive assignments. Blood drive assignments may sometimes start as early as 4:30am and end as late as 8:00pm.
✓Must be able to work rotating weekends and holidays.
✓Have basic computer skills, including internet navigation, email correspondence, and word processing.

About the role
In this role, you will play a crucial role in ensuring a stable blood supply for patients in need. The primary responsibilities include collection of blood and blood components from allogeneic and autologous donors, assessing donor/patient eligibility according to defined criteria, and perform automated and blood collections using apheresis equipment.
