Creates a sanitary, safe environment and enhances the appearance of the facility.

Performs all cleaning, floor care, and project assignments within area of responsibility and other assigned areas daily, including collecting and removing trash, changing bed linens, and sanitizing all surfaces. Stocks paper items and other supplies in areas as necessary or designated. Maintains cart and equipment in clean, working condition and stores in appropriate storage area when finished with shift.

Responds rapidly and thoroughly to emergencies, special needs, spills, etc. Assists other associates as necessary. Oversees the cleanliness of the locker room area including cleaning lockers on a bi-weekly basis, vacuuming all carpeted areas, and monitoring all wet areas as necessary.

Ensures there are adequate towels and supplies in the locker room. Coordinates and administers lost and found program. Communicates effectively with members, answers questions, and responds to comments and suggestions in a timely and professional manner.

Skills and Attributes:Requires critical thinking skills and decisive judgment. Works under limited supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
