You’ll need
Education
Bachelor's Degree and two years of relevant experience, ideally in the medical field. preferred
Qualifications
✓Excellent organizational, communication and teamwork skills.
✓Very strong customer service skills and a proven ability to expeditiously resolve problems.
✓Must be flexible and have the ability to respond to changing priorities and varying workloads.
✓Must have knowledge of cultural backgrounds of patients to be served.
Spanish language skills are strongly preferred.
Experience in a medical field, managed care or similar environment and knowledge of the Mayo system is strongly preferred.

About the role
The International Patient Coordinator works with embassy-sponsored patients and their Sponsors (generally government entities) and /or with counterparts at international medical centers and referral facilitator companies to coordinate care. In the case of embassy-sponsored patients, works to ensure that the care being received is consistent with the Letter of Guarantee from the Sponsoring Agent.
