Lab Associate I Looking for a laboratory opportunity with a great schedule, strong team environment, and work-life balance ? Join our high-volume outpatient laboratory as a Lab Associate I ! In this role, you’ll support daily laboratory operations while providing a positive experience for patients and helping the team keep things running smoothly.

Overview Barnes-Jewish West County Hospital offers highly specialized surgical and medical services in an intimate environment and is known for outstanding patient care. Role Purpose Performs non-blood and blood specimen collection, specimen handling/routine processing and clerical duties associated with specimen collection. Responsibilities Perform phlebotomy, positive patient identification, and positive patient interaction, proper collection and specimen integrity. Coordinates a simultaneous series of tasks accurately, including STAT orders and fluctuation in workload, prioritizing work to complete within scheduled hours and established turnaround times.
Interacts with lab, clinical and other ancillary departments.
