Full Time Role - 40 Hours a WeekMust be able to work: 6:00AM to 2:30PM and 7:00AM to 3:30PMRotating Holidays and Works Every Other Weekend Overview Missouri Baptist Medical Center, an acute care hospital in St. Louis County, offers a full continuum of medical and surgical services, including heart care, cancer, women and infants, breast health, gastrointestinal, orthopedic, stroke, therapy, wound and pain management services.

The hospital has a 24-hour adult emergency department and cares for pediatric patients at a separate emergency department in collaboration with St. Louis Children’s Hospital. Missouri Baptist is the first and only hospital in St.

Louis County to be named a Magnet® hospital by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC). The prestigious designation is the highest credential a health care organization can receive for nursing excellence and quality patient care. This recognition has been accomplished by less than nine percent of hospitals nationwide.

Louis metro area. The Facilities Services Department provides security, telecommunications, housekeeping, maintenance and engineering services for the campus. The various departments work in partnership to ensure the campus, including all of its buildings, parking lots/garages, patient care and common areas are well maintained, clean, attractive, and secure.

Role PurposeResponsible for daily housekeeping services as assigned, using procedures as outlined by the hospital or service organization. During the absence of the supervisor, assumes those responsibilities in addition to regular assignments. ResponsibilitiesPerforms discharge cleaning process in inpatient rooms and prepares room for next admission.

Performs routine cleaning activities in inpatient, public and common areas using prescribed, established cleaning process. Assumes supervisor responsibilities in the absence of supervisor. Keeps equipment clean and functional according to procedure and reports defects to supervisor.
