Lead Inventory Technician | Full-Time | 7:30AM TO 4:00PM

Full-Time7:30AM TO 4:00PM Location: 1451 El Camino Real The Villages, Florida 32159 Under the direction of the Manager, Supply Chain Services, The lead inventory tech will assist the manager in the scheduling staff, workload distribution and providing training and education to the inventory tech team. This position will troubleshoot backorder and stock-out situations and identify possible solutions in collaboration and coordination with the manager, clinical resource manager and purchasing.

ResponsibilitiesResponsible for assisting in the build of new supply rooms and ensuring the current ones are well maintained and free of expired productsMaintains and provides a safe and therapeutic work environment for customers and others. Report any issues to management and ensure issues get resolvedProvides training and education to new team members and continuing education to existing team membersAssists in scheduling and workload distributionThe team lead will act as a floater upon need in cases of being short staffed to ensure all areas are adequately servicedLogs miles on mileage sheet daily, keeps UF Health Central Florida vehicle neat and cleanSafely operates company vehicle while delivering supplies to our off-site locations.

QualificationsEducationHigh School Diploma/GEDExperience:(3) three years of experience working as an Inventory Technician or in a related role. Licensure/Certification/RegistrationValid Driver's LicenseSpecial Skills/Qualifications/Additional Training/Experience RequiredMust be able to read, write, speak and understand English.
