Licensure
✓Registered through the American Registry of Radiological Technologist with current license to practice in the State of Rhode Island.
Education
✓Completion of an accredited program in Radiation Therapy Technology.
✓Bachelor Degree matriculated or achieved.
Qualifications
✓Demonstrated knowledge of theory, technique, and procedures of Radiation Therapy and Gamma Knife.
✓Supervisory ability to effectively assist in planning, directing and evaluating technical staff.
✓Both visual acuity and physical ability to accurately lift and position patients and machinery for treatment.
✓Demonstrated knowledge and skills necessary to provide care to patients throughout the life span with consideration of the aging processes, human development stages and cultural patterns in each step of the care process.
✓At least five years experience as a Radiation Therapist with increasing responsibility in a hospital based department.
