Oversees, manages and controls the surgical supply system ensuring that it operates in a fiscally sound and efficient manner by managing surgical supplies and equipment from acquisition to disposition. Supervises department personnel and processes to ensure optimal standards of compliance and performance. Coordinates small program(s) with limited budget/impact.

Oversees, monitors, organizes, and controls supply inventory within the surgical department including ordering, receiving, storage and distribution of all supplies used in the surgical department. Assures that all surgical instrumentation and equipment is kept in good repair and adequate surgery inventory is maintained in a cost effective manner. Oversees and monitors periodic physical inventories and cycle counting.
Reviews and analyzes surgery inventory and tracking system reports to ensure optimal cost effective and accurate account of supplies. Reviews and presents on statistical reports as requested. Analyzes usage to identify areas of needed improvement.
Proposes and supports process improvement solutions to optimize inventory, system and effective cost objectives. Acts as a resource regarding special supply requests. Participates in the planning and implementing of new procedures, policies and systems.
Collaborates and communicates with providers, facilities, and members of department. Performs other job-related duties as assigned. Organizational
