Baptist Medical Center is seeking a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in our Inpatient Behavioral Health unit at Baptist Downtown. This is a PRN Day shift opportunity. As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), you will be responsible for: Assess psychosocial needs and provides services that enhance patient functioning, emotional well-being and continued access to services and resources in the community.
Facilitates group and individual therapies on an inpatient behavioral health unit Completes documentation as required for regulatory purposes (Baker Act, clinical documentation) Assists with safety planning Licensed Mental Health Counselor
3-5 Years Experience in Mental Health field Required 1-2 years Individual Counseling Experience Required 1-2 years Group Counseling Experience Required 1-2 years Assessment and Diagnostic Experience Required Less than 1 year Case Management Experience Required Education & Credential
