Responsibilities LICENSED PRACTICAL NURSE (LPN) OPPORTUNITY – FULL TIME DAY AND NIGHT SHIFTS AVAILABLE! MUST be available to attend the Full Hospital and Departmental orientations: Week 1: MONDAY -FRIDAY (8 AM - 5 PM) & Week 2: MONDAY (8:00 AM - 4:30 PM) Brentwood Behavioral Healthcare is a provider of quality psychiatric treatment services for adults, children and adolescents. Our outpatient services are a convenient drive to areas in Hinds County, Madison County and Rankin County.

We also provide inpatient services for those who need more structured treatment. Brentwood Behavioral Healthcare is a 133-bed acute psychiatric care facility located in Flowood, Mississippi. We are accredited by the Joint Commission of Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations and certified by Medicare, Medicaid and TRICARE®. We provide psychiatric treatment for depression, bipolar disorder, anxiety, schizophrenia, phobia and more.

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) is responsible for delivering quality direct patient care to children, adolescent and adult patients hospitalized for treatment of psychiatric or emotional disorders. The LPN serves actively and constructively as a member of the multi-disciplinary treatment team, supporting the organization and program or unit philosophy of care; ensures the safety and well-being of each patient. Supervises the MHT’s as assigned.

Further contributes to nursing and the hospital through support of philosophy and objectives, educational efforts and Quality Management efforts. Current license or permit to practice nursing in the state of MS. 1 year related experience. Prefered: Bachelor's of Science in Nursing. Three to five years of related experience in behavioral health setting.
