About the role

Duties Description Capital District Psychiatric Center (CDPC), an Office of Mental Health (OMH) Joint Commission accredited facility, is recruiting Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN), to join their team. No previous psychiatric experience is required. LPNs at CDPC are part of a multi-disciplinary team focused on providing compassionate care and patient-centered and recovery-focused mental health services to individuals with serious mental illness. LPNs, under the direction of a RN:
Perform nursing care tasks consistent with individual treatment plans
Administer medication
Attend to individuals’ personal care needs including daily living and hygiene tasks

If you fail to maintain your license and registration once you are appointed to Licensed Practical Nurse, action will be taken to remove you from the position. 2. If you are appointed and you lose the ability to bill through Medicare and Medicaid, you may be terminated from your employment.
