Join our team members who have strong work ethic, positive attitudes, and support each other thru collaborative teamworkWe pride ourselves in being compassionate and empathic to our patients and teamHere’s What You NeedLVN - Licensed Vocational Nurse Upon Hire (required)Accredited School of Practical Nursing Program (required)LVN experience (strongly preferred)Bilingual in English / Spanish (preferred)ACLS – Advanced Cardiac Life Support Upon Hire (required) orBCLS – Basic Cardiac Life Support Upon Hire (required)Knowledge of basic nursing processes and understanding of healthcare technology, equipment, and suppliesKnowledge of state law on nursing care, nurse practice guidelines, and clinic policies and proceduresAbility to effectively communicate to staff and patientsDemonstrate sound judgment and composureAbility to take appropriate action in questionable or emergency situationsMaintain a positive, caring attitude towards staff and patientsPossess a strong work ethic and a high level of professionalismEfficient time management skills

Delivers care to patients utilizing the LVN ProcessTriage patient calls and communicates with the providerUtilizes the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate comprehensive care provided to selected patient populations and their families. Performs specific nursing care as it relates to specialty of cardiology. Collects patient data such as vital signs, notes how the patient looks and acts or responds to stimuli and reports this information accordingly.

Prepares patient records and files using established medical record forms/automated systems and documentation practices. Administers certain prescribed medications and monitors and documents treatment progress and patient response. Performs other duties as assigned.
