Education
✓High School diploma or GED required. Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and/or certification as a Medical Technologist from a nationally recognized credentialing agency, i.e., ASCP, HEW, or AMT preferred.
Qualifications
✓Minimum of 5 years experience in a clinical laboratory, with IT experience.
✓Must have excellent communication skills including both oral and written skills, Must have excellent analytical, problem solving and customer service skills.
✓Must have the ability to develop and maintain good working relationships with teams across organizational lines, including administrative and executive staff.
✓Must have the ability to multitask and prioritize projects to meet deadlines as required.
✓Must demonstrate strong technical and computer skills and be adaptable to rapidly changing technologies.
✓Must be able to work independently as well as in a team environment.
✓Must be self motivated, have the ability to complete projects with little supervision, and the ability to work in a fast paced environment, requiring prioritizing and changing tasks frequently and quickly.
✓Must have knowledge of current standards, legislation, practices, delivery systems, documentation methods and trends in medicine.
