Qualifications
✓Clinic LPN II or Medical Assistant II
✓The Medical Assistant Tier 2 is an unlicensed healthcare personnel who works under the direct supervision of a licensed healthcare professional, i.e. physician, advanced practice provider (APP), or registered nurse (RN).
✓MAs deliver care in a clinic setting and provides safe, patient-centered care in accordance with established clinical policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements, contributing to optimal patient outcomes and efficient clinic operations.
✓Tier 2 MAs utilize fundamental clinical skills, but are frequently required to apply moderate to advanced-complexity clinical skills and knowledge in their daily practice, often in high-complexity or specialized settings, requiring additional training skill validation.
✓The MA actively aligns with organizational values by delivering compassionate, respectful, and effective care and adheres to the scope of practice for Medical Assistants.
✓Successful completion of a Medical Assistant Program
✓1-2 years’ experience in medical office or similar capacity.
Experience in a similar capacity 1-2 years preferred. Medical Office experience
