Licensure
✓Current North Carolina State Licensed Practical Nurse License Current North Carolina Driver’s License CPR Certification CPI Certification Knowledge and Skills: Knowledge of appropriate nursing assessment, diagnoses, & interventions with patients.
Certifications
✓Accurate administration of medication & treatments.
✓Monitor & record response & side-effects to medication & treatments.
Education
✓Graduate of an accredited school of practical nursing
Qualifications
✓Knowledge of milieu management.
✓Ability to safely implement Special Treatment Procedures.
✓Ability to develop therapeutic relationships with patients and families.
✓Ability to assist with educating patients & families in medication & care management.
✓Ability to write clearly, legibly, accurately, & concisely in patient charts.
✓Skill in maintaining appropriate medical record documentation.
✓Ability to direct subordinates in the performance of their duties.
One-year inpatient psychiatric experience or Healthcare environment with adults, adolescents and/or children preferred. New grads welcome
