Plan of Care and Technical
- Collaborates with team to facilitate hourly rounding and initiates action to meet patient and/or significant othersneed for information.
- Takes action to reduce/eliminate patient risks.
- Collects data and reports significant findings to RN.
- Safely administers medication in accordance with medication administration guidelines.
- Uses nursing model to obtain adequate data to initiate, implement, and revise plan of care to meetpatient, physician, and family needs.
- Individualizes care measures to reflect specific patient population. Performs technical procedures safely and proficiently.
- Demonstrates critical thinking.
- Adheres to national safety goals in care delivery.
- Monitors patients. Partnerships:
- Works in partnership with peers, other disciplines, and unlicensed assistive personnel.
- Actively participates in formal and informal teaching and evaluation to strengthen clinical competence of self andteam members.
- Uses Unit Based Council structure.
- Flexible with scheduling to help meet departmental/patient needs.
