✓Successful completion of formal training in a mechanical trade program at an approved vocational or technical school, college, or apprenticeship sponsor organization.
Qualifications
✓Specialized training in at least one mechanical technology such as sterilizers, hospital beds, pumps and compressors.
✓Knowledge of mechanical theory, techniques, codes, procedures and materials
✓5 years related work experience. The full-time equivalent spent in an approved program may count toward the 5-year work experience requirement.
✓Knowledge of electrical techniques, codes, procedures and materials.
✓Knowledge of safety rules, procedures and practices, including the proper use of safety equipment as defined by OSHA and industry standards.
