Repairs and services "panic hardware" on doors to ensure proper functionality. Troubleshoots, tests, and repairs mechanical machinery, equipment, and systems related to door hardware. Responds to in-house work orders and preventive maintenance requests in a timely manner.
Maintains complete and accurate records of all maintenance and repairs. Ensures records comply with healthcare, federal, state, and local regulations and standards. Assists in the operation and general maintenance of painting, plumbing, HVAC, and alarm systems as needed.
Other duties as assigned. Installs, repairs, and services locks and related door hardware. Cuts new and duplicate keys from existing keys, patterns, or codes.
Opens locks for which there is no key or existing combination. Maintains shop master key boxes for authorized personnel access.
