EducationOther Graduate of an accredited school of radiologic technology Required OrAssociate's Degree PreferredExperience1 Year clinical experience in mammography Preferred ormeet the mammography requirements as stated in Federal Register for MQSA in Final Rules, Part 900.12(a)(2). PreferredLicenses and CertificationsARRT - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Radiography Upon Hire Required AndARRT - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Mammography Upon Hire Preferred OrARRT - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Mammography 12 Months Required AndCMRT - Certified Medical Radiologic Technologist Either by the TDH or TMB Upon Hire Required AndBCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly RequiredSkillsAbility to produce high quality mammography with special views as directed by the radiologist, excellent verbal and writing skills, and ability to organize and analyze information.
