Contingent, Days. Candidate will be required to work in multiple facilities near the Southfield Breast Center (but within the Providence sites). Candidate must be able to work a variety of 8,10 or 12 hour shifts.
Candidate is required to work at least 1 shift per pay period and at least 1 Saturday per 8 weeks. Candidate should be comfortable to work independently at some sites. Role Overview As a Mammography Tech, you play a vital role in providing high-quality breast imaging services under the guidance of a Radiologist. Your expertise directly supports physicians in diagnosing and evaluating pathological conditions, contributing to early detection and improved patient outcomes. Perform radiologic breast imaging procedures as ordered by physicians. Utilize independent judgment to determine appropriate radiographic techniques and positioning. Ensure adherence to safety practices and department protocols.
Maintain compliance with Mammography Quality Standards Act (MQSA) and other regulatory requirements. Complete required continuing medical education to stay current with industry standards. Qualifications What You Will Need Required Qualifications High School Diploma or G. E. D. equivalent.
Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) and ARRT (M) certified (or registry eligible). If registry eligible, must obtain ARRT (M) within 12 months of hire.
