Contingent, Days. Candidate will be expected to be able to rotate to various other sites close to Novi. Shifts are 8,10 and 12 hours shifts.
Candidate should be able to work minimum 1 shift per pay period and 1 Saturday every 8 weeks. As part of our Radiology department, you'll play a vital role in delivering high-quality imaging services that directly impact patient care and outcomes. Role Overview As a Mammography Tech, you will perform radiologic breast imaging procedures under the direction of a Radiologist, aiding in the evaluation of pathological entities as ordered by physicians. Your expertise ensures accurate and safe imaging, contributing to early detection and effective treatment planning.

Perform radiologic breast imaging procedures as ordered by physicians. Utilize independent judgment to determine appropriate radiographic techniques and positioning. Ensure adherence to safety practices and department protocols during procedures.
Maintain compliance with Mammography Quality Standards Act (MQSA) and other regulatory requirements. Complete required hours of continued medical education to stay current in the field. Qualifications What You Will Need Required Qualifications High School Diploma or G. E. D. equivalent.
Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) and the advanced registry in Mammography, ARRT (M) (or registry eligible). If registry eligible, must obtain registry within 12 months of hire. Ability to meet all Mammography Quality Standards Act (MQSA) criteria and other regulatory agency requirements.
