✓Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists in Mammography and licensed by SC Radiation Quality Standards Association.
✓Licensure from the South Carolina Radiation Quality Standards Association is required.
Certifications
✓Must be registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
✓ARRT CT Registration required within 1 year in position.
✓Current Basic Life Support (BLS) required, either a certification from an American Heart Association (AHA) BLS for Healthcare Providers (or AHA recognized equivalent) or an American Red Cross CPR/AED for Professional Rescuer and Healthcare Provider.
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred.
Breast ultrasonographer registered preferred.
Education

Performs proficiently Mammograms, (Screening and Diagnostic) Bone Density Exams, Stereotactic Biopsies and Needle Localization Exams. Maintains x-ray and other equipment in efficient operating order, Assists Lead Mammographer in ensuring that Quality Assurance is carried out in an appropriate and timely manner.
