Licensure
✓Licensed Graduate Professional Counselor (LGPC) license OR Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) from the MD Board of Professional Counselors and Therapists OR Licensed Certified Social Worker - Clinical (LCSW-C) from the Maryland Board of Social Work Examiners. .
In addition to graduate licensures, certification as CAC-AD from the MD Board of Professional Counselors and Therapists. preferred
Education
✓A minimum of master's degree in a behavioral health field from an accredited university with significant coursework in substance use disorders.
Qualifications
✓Three years of professional experience in substance use disorder treatment to include assessment, case management, group, family, or individual counseling. One year of demonstrated supervisory experience.
Strongly preferred: Previous experience in inpatient/residential substance use disorder treatment.
