You’ll need
Licensure
✓Current RN license in the State of Ohio.
✓Registered Nurse (RN)
✓Current licensure either in the state where the facility is located or, if the facility is in a state covered by the multistate Nursing Licensure Compact (NLC) agreement, a multistate license issued by a participating NLC state.
✓Hires and current employees working on an out-of-state NLC license who later change their residency to the state where the facility is also located will have 60 days upon changing their residency to apply for licensure within that state.
Certifications
✓Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
✓Basic Life Support (BLS)
Education
✓BSN degree
Qualifications
✓Equivalent leadership capabilities will be considered in lieu of the leadership experience requirement based on executive leadership approval.
✓Must be able to demonstrate advanced skills and abilities of a registered nurse, practicing within the nursing scope of practice.
✓Must have the ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Also, be able to interpret an extensive variety of instructions and deliver successful results.
✓Critical thinking and problem solving skills and must be moderately advanced with experience in handling complex situations and conflicts.
