Licensure
✓Ability to obtain and maintain a State of Nevada Registered Nurse license or a Registered Nurse License in the state at which they reside is required.
Certifications
National Certification preferred (i. e. , Case Management (CCM))
Education
Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English sufficiently to perform job duties safely and effectively. Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred.
Qualifications
✓Knowledge of case management practices and ability to incorporate successful current trends.
✓Leadership skills, which model problem resolution, sound decision-making, consensus building, and effective resource utilization
✓Ability to plan, organize, adjust and maintain priorities and schedules to set and meet deadlines.
✓Ability to develop, understand, and monitors budgets.
✓Computer familiarity and literacy. Experience in operating database and/or spreadsheet programs.
✓Knowledge and understanding of governmental and JCAHO regulations.
✓Strong verbal and written communication skills. This position does not provide patient care

✓Two years' experience as a Clinical Leader in home health, long-term care, acute care, rehabilitation, or utilization review required.
Demonstrated experience in a managerial, supervisory or leadership role preferred.

About the role

This position is responsible for the daily management of departmental operations for the Hospital Care Management Department. The Manager is accountable for the implementation of strategies and initiatives developed by the Director of Care Coordination. The Manager provides staff support and oversight of activities related to Case Management, Social Worker, CDI and UR functions.
