Education
✓Bachelor's Degree Required.
Qualifications
✓Demonstrated knowledge of billing practices, institutional financial administration policies, procedures, and practices, institutional regulations, guidelines, policies, and procedures, as applicable.
✓Substantial knowledge and understanding of research and/or clinical and billing regulations affecting clinical trials and medical research (e.g. NCD 310.1). Intermediate
✓Familiarity with all research administrative business processes for industry-sponsored clinical research projects. Advanced
✓Substantial knowledge of financial tracking systems, including Accounting, EPIC Electronic Medical Record (EMR), and Clinical Trial Management System (CTMS) applications. Advanced
✓Strong financial acumen with the ability to analyze and interpret financial data.
✓Knowledge of common business and cost drivers, and financial statement analysis within clinical research .
✓Self-motivated problem solver with strong analytical skills.
✓Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
✓Ability to effectively communicate key information with leadership, physicians, and other research staff .
✓Ability to professionally handle matters of a sensitive nature with confidentiality.
✓Advanced Microsoft Office skills with strong working knowledge of Excel.
✓Demonstrated leadership ability: Ability to effectively manage staff and motivate them to produce timely and competent work with minimal supervision.
✓Ability to develop and implement processes to ensure efficiency and effectiveness in research financial operations.
✓Excellent communication skills: ability to communicate with executive-level staff and others in a clear and professional manner.
✓Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with personnel at all levels to gather information, communicate requirements, and handle complex issues.
✓Must be flexible and adaptable.
